2014–2018
I was one of the first designers at Alarm.com, a home automation and Internet-of-Things company. During my time there, I designed and shipped over 20 products and got to work on every platform, iOS, Android, web, iPad, and Apple Watch. This page contains two of my most impactful projects.
If you work in an office building, you probably have a badge that lets you in the door. We saw the current state of the access control market and knew there was a big opportunity to reimagine a decades-old industry. After a year of design and development, we launched an entirely new branch of business for the company in a $6.5 billion market.







I had the opportunity to fly to the Apple Campus and work with Jony Ive's Human-Computer Interaction team to create one of the first apps for Apple Watch. The app was featured in the Apple keynote and we saw a 1200% increase in the company's domain traffic.
